Scalp Care Routine to Improve Sleep Quality
Quality sleep is deeply related to scalp care. We introduce scalp care routines to incorporate before bedtime.
Why Sleep and Scalp Care are Related
During sleep, growth hormones are secreted and repair and regeneration of the scalp and hair takes place. However, if blood circulation in the scalp is poor or pores are clogged, this repair function cannot work sufficiently.
Recommended Pre-Sleep Routine
1. Warm the scalp with a lukewarm shower: Rinse the scalp thoroughly with water at 38-40°C. Be careful not to use water that is too hot, as it will strip too much sebum.
2. Scalp massage (5-10 minutes): Using the pads of your fingers, gently massage from the temples toward the top of the head. This promotes blood circulation and increases relaxation effects.
3. Dry completely with a hair dryer: Going to bed with wet hair makes it easy for bacteria to multiply. Dry thoroughly from the roots.
4. Use aromatherapy oils: Incorporating relaxing aromas such as lavender and chamomile will lead you to deeper sleep.
Combining regular head spa treatments with a well-organized daily care routine will greatly improve sleep quality.
